Was kann Form erlangen? Unter welchen Umständen, mit welchem Akt, welcher Potenz? Ist es für eine Malerin nicht unerlässlich, sich mit der Frage nach dem Ursprung von Form zu beschäftigen? Sich auf den aristotelischen Gedanken, dass eine Frau keine Form hervorbringen kann, zu besinnen und gegen diese Tradition anzuarbeiten, sich zu erheben? Statt von oben, kommt die Einbildungskraft von unten und ist das Ergebnis eines langen Integrationsprozesses. Die Erinnerung muss durch den Körper hindurch.
What can gain shape? Under which circumstances, through which act, by which potency? Isn’t it indispensable for a woman painter to think about the origin of form? To refer back to the Aristotelian tradition that women can’t bring forth form, to reflect on this concept, to act and stand up against it? Instead of from above, the imagination comes from beneath, and creation is the result of a long process of integration. Memory must pass through the body.
